Spiritual bypassing is the tendency to use alleged spiritual practices and ideas to avoid dealing with difficult emotions, unresolved issues, and developmental needs.

Material bypassing is when we use unresolved issues, emotions, developmental needs, privilege, noble causes, victim identification to avoid spiritual awakening.  

In both cases they can be a way to protect ourselves, in the short term, from seeming harm or to promote illusionary harmony, but they don’t resolve the issue. Instead, they gloss over the problems, leaving them to fester. Both serve to protect continuance of our identity as a reflective material-based egos. We will explore our patterns, practices and loyalties to ego verses soul identity.

Rooms are available at the Retreat Center where the class is held.
Rates
- Single Room with its own bathroom $150/night.
- Shared Room (for 2 people) in 2 Twin beds with its own bathroom $75/night.
